The Garden of Adrienne and John Junod

We went looking for small gardens this month and have chosen the garden of Adrienne and John Junod of 26 William Pond Rd. Wright Farm community. This end unit has a lot going on in a small space with sun to shade plants in the ground and in pots. So many colors and textures that lead the eye in and out up and down along the path to the door we found ourselves wanting to retrace our steps over and over in case we missed something among all the hanging baskets, pots, and window boxes  . We loved the pot of coleus with 5 varieties on the porch. There was a real feeling of privacy even with many neighbors just steps away .The birdbath nestled into the fern patch and tall black cohosh created a peaceful shady corner, while  the border of perennials wakes you up and take notice. The side yard has mature shrubs and a mix of summer color both perennial and annuals to wonder through. All very pretty from the street, how it tempts you to wonder in and see more.
