The Garden of Ellen Gobbi

The July Garden of the month has been awarded to Ellen Gobbi 12 Moccasin Path. A garden for all the senses.  We were greeted at the street by a mailbox surrounded by color and a mature tree hydrangea, Along the driveway and up to the front door is a mass of annuals, perennials and shrubs organised by a border of begonia and dusty miller in black mulch that repeats along the house front. The front of the property has several tree surround shade gardens with bird baths and other garden art pieces. The back yard also has semi formal borders, a rose garden, a water feature garden, and charming fairy garden with stone and creeping sedums . The path ways and patio of lovely hardscaping includes an outdoor see through fire place. Every direction held a new splash of color or interesting potted mix of annuals. The shady side of the house had lace caped hydrangeas and other perennials suited to the light . Truly artistry and very hard work.
