The Garden of Janet Snowden

The Atkinson Garden Club June Garden of the Month has been awarded to our own Janet Snowden at 3 Molly Lane (Wright Farm) for her Condominium Garden. It takes special skill to create a beautiful garden within the parameters of a Condo Associations rules and regulations. The landscape surrounding her unit has a variety of mature, shaped and natural shrubs in many colors and textures, Plum, Yew, Evergreens and Forsythia. The foreground has perennials and annuals following the curve around to the back of the unit all mulched and colorful with Peony, Iris, Lambs Ears, Coral-bells, Bellflower, Lamium, Sedums and Petunia interspersed. Janet has a number of potted and hanging plants and planters for added interest in her seating areas and deck. On the wooded property line Janet keeps a lovely border not just for her own unit but for the neighbors on both sides that includes many different sizes and color varieties of Hosta, Lilly, Fern, and colorful annuals. A stone path leads into the woods also bordered by plantings.
